Job Summary
Construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems, including installing poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware. Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques, troubleshooting faults while maintaining safety protocols and proper tagging procedures. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioners to work at heights, in confined spaces, and near energized equipment under varying weather conditions. Available for outages, storms, and emergencies on an on-call rotation, including weekend, holiday, and overtime work. Requires three years of recent overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel long distances, including out-of-state assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
- Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation
- Willing to work out of state locations
