Job Summary
Disassemble vehicles part by part to identify repair needs and prepare for bodywork, then document and organize parts with photos and labels before reassembling them to Tesla's strict factory specifications. Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure repair plans align with manufacturer procedures while maintaining safety and organization through clean workspaces and adherence to shop protocols. This hands-on role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems in a fast-paced, technology-driven collision center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, ideally in a dealership, collision center, or EV repair facility
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and precise repairs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on work in a shop environment
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required
