Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs based on driver pre and post trip inspections. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and computer equipment to resolve electrical and mechanical issues, including rebuilding hydraulic components and replacing hoses. Work in adverse conditions to repair vehicles and stationary equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and safety through accurate lockout/tagout procedures and record maintenance. Participate in training opportunities to expand knowledge of company products and services while adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including a drug screen
