[B] Health Care Aide Casual AgeCare Jasper Place

Health Care Aide (HCA) position at AgeCare’s Jasper Place location. Work as part of the care team under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide resident-focused basic care and services. Responsibilities include observing residents for changes in condition during bathing, dressing, and daily activities; reporting changes to the Staff Nurse; assisting in developing and implementing the Nursing Care Plan; collaborating with the nursing team to address residents’ needs; helping residents move and participate in community activities; and reporting unsafe conditions. Requires completion of a Health Care Aide program (or provincial equivalent certificate with at least 500 hours of theory and practicum). Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills are essential. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid is recommended, and a current Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
