Job Summary
Coordinate banquet functions, supervise associates, and ensure guest satisfaction through effective delegation and service standards. Interview, select, train, and counsel staff while maintaining equipment and keeping par levels. Determine set-ups with Sales Managers, check food quality, and distribute event schedules, BEOs, and rooming lists accurately. Prepare for special events, manage cash handling, and inspect function rooms for engineering work orders. Maximize department profits through cost management and active participation in sales meetings and planning sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Must stay updated on new food and wine trends
- A dress code is required
- Working at a desk and being on your feet walking or standing for most of the day is required
- The lifting of supplies and equipment that may exceed 50 lbs could also be required
- Bending down, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and pushing are other physical demands that may be required of you
