Job Summary
Tutor groups of elementary students without direct teacher supervision using provided curriculum and materials. Deliver lessons in an engaging, welcoming environment while supporting positive student behavior and participation. Track attendance and progress via the HeyTutor Dashboard and assist with assessments when requested. Escort students to designated campus areas and clock in/out daily using Deputy. Manage large groups independently in a classroom setting. Monday–Friday availability required between 8:00am–12:30pm. An in-person background check is mandatory. Associate's degree or current college enrollment required; Spanish bilingualism preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check
- Monday–Friday availability
- Availability between 8:00am-12:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children or tutoring
- Comfortable tutoring Elementary and Middle School Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
- Ability to manage large groups of students independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Spanish Bilingual
