Job Summary
Architect secure, scalable Azure environments across compute, storage, networking, and database services while designing high-availability solutions and supporting hybrid-cloud integrations. Lead client workshops to gather requirements, translate technical needs into stakeholder recommendations, and drive implementations across complex projects. Enforce security and compliance policies using Azure Policy and Defender, automate infrastructure deployments with Bicep and Terraform, and champion DevOps and DevSecOps practices. Provide technical guidance on data engineering initiatives involving Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Fabric, and explore AI-driven automation for operational efficiency. Mentor junior team members, maintain accurate documentation, and support presales activities including cost estimation and client demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years' experience implementing or administering Microsoft technologies
- At least 3 years' hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Azure solutions across multiple resource types beyond virtual machines
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure, scalable Azure environments
- Strong infrastructure, networking and database expertise
- Advanced knowledge of Azure application architecture and service dependencies
- Experience with Azure networking, high availability and disaster-recovery solutions
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, automation and DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience using Bicep and ARM templates for Azure deployments
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or a similar language
- Experience working with hybrid-cloud environments and on-premises integrations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client-facing consulting, workshop facilitation and presentation experience
