Azure Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and enhance Azure integration and data solutions supporting critical business processes and citizen-facing payments. Troubleshoot end-to-end integration chains across hybrid environments, from SFTP sources through Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Dynamics 365 to downstream payment interfaces. Lead the implementation of approved enhancement initiatives, modernize legacy estates, and resolve complex technical issues acting as a senior escalation point. Contribute to architecture discussions, perform root cause analysis, and maintain operational runbooks to reduce key-person dependency. Collaborate with customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while adhering to strict security standards and secure change processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and developing Azure integration and data solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Logic Apps
- Hands-on experience with C# / .NET and Azure WebJobs in an enterprise context
- Experience with SSIS-based data integration and hybrid connectivity via SHIR
- Experience delivering enhancements and new functionality within enterprise environments
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting system integrations
- Experience using Azure DevOps and modern application lifecycle management practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot end-to-end across multiple integrated systems without reliance on extensive handoffs
- Candidates must hold existing Right to Work in the UK or Ireland
- Any required public sector security vetting must be achievable within the mobilisation timeline
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions
- Experience integrating Azure services with business applications
- Experience working within complex, integrated Microsoft technology estates
- Experience in Managed Services or regulated environments
- Public sector delivery experience and familiarity with security/assurance frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GovAssure / CAF)
- Experience supporting inherited / third-party-built solutions and leading discovery on undocumented estates
- Ideally in Northern Ireland
