Job Summary
Seeking an Azure IAM Engineer for a high-visibility role supporting government identity modernization efforts, focusing on Azure AD B2C enhancements, fraud prevention, and migration to Microsoft Entra External ID.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years enterprise IT engineering experience
- Experience migrating Azure AD B2C → Microsoft Entra External ID
- 5+ years with Azure AD / Entra ID identity governance, authentication, and access management
- 3–5 years hands-on with Azure AD B2C
- Strong experience with APIM, Azure Front Door, WAF, and related security configurations
- Experience integrating fraud and identity proofing tools (Socure, LexisNexis, IDEMIA, etc.)
- Proficiency with .NET/C#, Azure Functions, and REST API development supporting identity flows
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, MFA, Conditional Access, Zero Trust
- Strong communication skills and experience working with government stakeholders and technical teams
Desired Qualifications
- Azure certifications (AZ-500, SC-300, SC-100, AZ-305, etc.)
- Public sector project experience preferred
