Job Summary
ETL Data Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes using Python (PySpark) within Azure Synapse Analytics; design data warehouse structures; extract data from REST APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files; implement data quality checks; optimize pipelines for performance; collaborate with data scientists and analysts; ensure security and compliance; maintain documentation; leverage Azure Synapse noteboooks/pipelines, data fabric concepts, data models, and visualization integrations (Power BI, Tableau).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience, with certifications related to data engineering or data science (e.g. Azure Data Engineer) being a plus.
