Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment and application release cycles. Manage cloud infrastructure including VMs, App Services, AKS, databases, and networking while implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with tools like DataDog. Establish security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, and lead capacity management initiatives. This role supports insightsoftware's global finance and data analytics solutions, empowering over 32,000 organizations with intelligent decision-making capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
- Production experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and resources
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or similar tools)
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud container services
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, network architecture, and identity management
- Terraform (IaC)
- Azure Cloud Platform / AWS Cloud Platform (compute, networking, storage, databases)
- CI/CD Tools (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Git version control and collaborative development
- Infrastructure monitoring and alerting
