Job Summary
Lead application modernization and migration to Azure PaaS platforms, optimizing hosting configurations across App Service, Functions, AKS, and Container Instance. Design Azure Landing Zone target state architectures while analyzing application dependencies and integrations to ensure seamless cloud adoption. Guide teams of five or more members through technical migration pathways, conducting pre- and post-migration performance assessments. Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, DevOps, and Integration teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and stakeholder requirements. Prepare solution presentations for customers and internal stakeholders, managing commercial aspects to deliver value for money.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ Years of development and app modernization experience
- Experience in hosting and configuring the applications on IIS
- Experience in modernization of Applications to Azure PaaS platform along with migration experience
- Expertise in application hosting configuration optimization in various Azure PaaS services (App service, Functions, AKS, Container Instance)
- Ability to understand application architecture dependencies and integrations
- Should have led and managed the team with the size more than 5 members
- Should be able to guide the team technically
- Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways
- Hands on web application development skills
- Hands on experience in developing and hosting web applications on Azure PaaS platform
- Primary database skills like database connectivity configurations etc
- Ability to analyze application dependencies
- Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services
- Should know the nittygritties of hosting containerized application on Kubernetes
- Application performance assessment pre and post migration
- Understanding customer Infra landscape
- Design Azure Landing Zone and provide the Azure target state solution architecture
- Troubleshooting experience with Azure PaaS platform
- Basic understanding of containerization and AKS service

- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to find alternate ways to reach the goals
- Ability to ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering business application and Infrastructure as well as commercial aspects in terms of value for money and not commercial costing etc
- Work with Internal stakeholders Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
