Job Summary
As an Attendant/Caregiver at At Home Healthcare, you will assist clients in daily living activities, ensure their safety, and monitor their environment for hazards. The role demands effective communication and cooperation with clients and staff, as well as adherence to health policies and regulations. Strong competencies in patience, judgment, and physical tasks such as lifting and mobility are essential. Training will be provided, and candidates must demonstrate the necessary competencies to perform assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a pleasant and cheerful demeanor
- Ability to effectively carry out duties in cooperation with others
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to recognize differences in sounds
- Ability to exercise patience, tact, initiative, judgment, and confidentiality
- Ability to recognize changes in a client’s appearance, attitude, and condition
- Completion of required training requirements
