AZ HVAC and Chiller Technician II

Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high precision process chillers and service general HVAC equipment across Phoenix facilities. Diagnose issues unique to industrial chillers by analyzing fluid temperatures, flow rates, and critical pressure limits while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Create comprehensive spare part lists, maintain detailed service logs and repair reports, and mentor level I technicians on diagnostic and repair procedures. Track inventory to minimize downtime and assist with troubleshooting related boiler systems. Requires valid EPA Section 608 certification, five years of HVAC experience, and familiarity with semiconductor or industrial manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited HVAC training certification
- Valid EPA Section 608 Technician Certification
- High school diploma, GED
- 5+ years as an HVAC Technician
- Deep knowledge of HVAC and chiller equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Near acuity or accommodation required for reading instrumentation and documentation, dial and digital gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to handle delicate parts
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving items up to 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
