Job Summary
Drive safely in all road and weather conditions to deliver and pick up product across various locations. Move freight between terminal locations, perform required pre-trip inspections, and ensure equipment is in safe working order. Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, or inquiries while operating onboard telematic devices for electronic logging. Load and unload product accurately, complete all required paperwork, and comply with hours of service regulations for all jurisdictions. Attend driver safety meetings and report maintenance issues to the shop.
Required Qualifications
- Valid AZ/Class 1 license
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience on AZ/Class 1 license
- Meet the licensing requirements for the specific job opening
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and health survey
- CVOR, Driver abstract and a copy of a drivers license
- Employment reference check
- Criminal record check
- Required to wear PPE (provided by The Erb Group)
- Some slip seating
- May be required to be gone overnight on occasion
- Will be required to operate DZ units
- Monday - Friday with some weekend work
- Occasional Night out
- 24/7 Operation
- Departure times will vary
- No set end time on any given day
- Work can be up to and including the HOS regulations
