Job Summary
Perform city deliveries and shunting using a pump truck, tailgate, or straight truck within the Greater Toronto Area. Operate vehicles to transport freight, ensuring proper securing and pre/post-trip inspections. Handle occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and push/pull tasks with a manual pump truck while maintaining safety regulations and safe equipment use. Work a Friday to Monday AM shift starting at 8 AM, with four days of work per week. Requires at least one year of verifiable AZ local experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of verifiable AZ local experience
- Updated CVOR and abstract
- Professional and safe attitude with excellent customer service
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing and pulling using a manual pump truck
- Ensure safe use of equipment
- Perform inspections before and after each trip
- Ensure freight is secured properly in accordance with safety regulations
- Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck to transport freight per business needs
- Delivery using a pump truck or a tailgate
- Perform a hybrid of shunting & city work, especially over the weekend
- Friday to Monday (AM) schedule available
