Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding the borrowing, deposit and treasury management needs of business banking customers. Will profile, discover banking needs, and offer solutions to meet financial objectives; source new opportunities through referrals from external sources, existing clients, and community organizations; collaborate with banking center employees to support, coach, and provide expertise on business products and services. Must work in person at Phoenix centers and engage with customers by phone as needed; driving is an essential duty. Strong relationship-building, profiling, and communication skills are required, with bilingual Spanish preferred and college degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with business in a sales capacity
- Knowledge of Retail Banking and working knowledge of commercial business
- Ability to determine business needs, make recommendations and acquire new relationships
- Ability to source new loan and deposit opportunities and build effective relationships with customers and members of the community
- Ability to work well in a team environment by partnering with other colleagues to meet customer needs
- Ability to work with customers in person and by telephone
- Excellent profiling, listening, influencing, advising and acquisition skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong initiative, excellent judgment, and comprehensive planning, organization, and follow-up skills
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- College degree preferred
- Physically capable of operating vehicles safely; valid driver\'s license; proof of insurance; acceptable driving record
- Compliance with Vehicle Use Policy
- Driving a vehicle is an essential duty
