Job Summary
Night shift Warehouse Assistant at Prime Meats (Nightshift 5 PM-5 AM, Sunday-Thursday) responsible for unloading inbound pallets, counting/receiving products, moving items within the distribution center, and preparing pick locations. Responsibilities include unloading pallets from trailers/containers using pallet jacks and forklifts, verifying and receiving products with WMS, documenting variances, maintaining productivity and quality, and adhering to safety policies in a cold environment. Requires general math/reading ability, physical capacity to lift 30-50 pounds, and experience in a distribution center; forklift operation and bilingual ability are preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of math and reading
- Forklift operation and/or ability to operate forklift
- Ability to unload, count, verify and receive products using warehouse management systems
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30-50 pounds
- Experience in distribution center environment preferred
- Bilingual ability preferred
- E-Verify participation
- Ability to work night shift (5 PM-5 AM)
- Cold environment exposure (32F to -6F)
- Ability to use pallet jack, sit-down or stand-up forklift
- WMS familiarity
- Safety policies adherence
- Accurate documentation of variances
