Job Summary
Assist customers with purchases in a friendly and professional manner while operating the POS system. Stock shelves, rotate products using FIFO, and maintain a clean, tidy store area. Monitor inventory levels to notify the manager when stock is low. Open and close the store following basic procedures, provide general customer service to students, faculty, and staff, and perform light sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash removal. This student employee role supports daily operations at The Cave at St. Olaf College, offering a flexible and independent work environment with training provided for those without prior retail experience.
