Job Summary
Configure and implement Axway SecureTransport Managed File Transfer solutions, developing workflows and integrating with internal applications, external partners, and AWS services. Install, upgrade, and patch environments while administering Linux OS-level configurations and tuning. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity and performance issues, managing user accounts, roles, permissions, and encryption keys. Apply security best practices across protocols like SFTP, FTPS, and AS2, supporting security reviews and audits with logs and technical input. Maintain monitoring and alerting for MFT services, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA. Day shift Monday through Friday in Alexandria, VA, with less than 10% travel.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Must be local to DMV area
- Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday

- Must be able to configure, and implement MFT solutions using Axway SecureTransport
- Must be able to develop file transfer workflows, routes, and trading partner configurations
- Must be able to integrate SecureTransport with internal applications, external partners, and AWS services
- Must be able to install, upgrade, patch, and configure Axway SecureTransport environments
- Must be able to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve file transfer, connectivity, and performance issues
- Must be able to manage user accounts, roles, permissions, keys, and certificates
- Must be able to administer SecureTransport on Linux, including OS-level configuration and tuning
- Must be able to implement and maintain secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etc.)
- Must be able to apply security best practices across Axway SecureTransport, Linux, and AWS
- Must be able to manage encryption keys, SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, and authentication mechanisms
- Must be able to work with security teams to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, as applicable)
- Must be able to support security reviews and audits by providing logs, evidence, and technical input
- Must be able to configure and maintain monitoring and alerting for MFT services
- Must be able to use Axway Sentinel (if available) or other tools for tracking, reporting, and SLA compliance
- Must be able to support audit and compliance reporting with required logs and transfer history
- Must have Active Public Trust or ability to obtain
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Must have relevant certifications in Axway SecureTransport / MFT
- Must have AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent
- Must have experience with Installation, configuration, administration, and partner onboarding
- Must have experience with Configuration of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etc.)
- Must have experience with Daily administration and troubleshooting on Linux servers
- Must have understanding of deploying and operating applications/services in AWS
- Must have understanding of encryption, TLS/SSL, SSH, key management, and certificates
- Must have familiarity with secure configuration of servers, firewalls, and access controls
- Must have experience with authentication/authorization mechanisms (LDAP/AD, IAM roles, RBAC)
- Must have good understanding of DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Axway Sentinel
- Exposure to SQL databases (Postgres/MySQL)
- Relevant certifications a plus, such as: Axway SecureTransport / MFT certifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent
- Experience with Installation, configuration, administration, and partner onboarding
- Experience with Configuration of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etc.)
- Experience with Daily administration and troubleshooting on Linux servers
- Understanding of deploying and operating applications/services in AWS
- Understanding of encryption, TLS/SSL, SSH, key management, and certificates
- Familiarity with secure configuration of servers, firewalls, and access controls
