Job Summary
AXIOMSL Business Analyst role supporting regulatory reporting solutions for a leading American financial services corporation. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business/functional requirements, translating needs into technical solutions, supporting design and enhancement of regulatory reporting, data flow analysis and quality validation, data mapping and reconciliation, and collaboration across risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure regulatory adherence. Requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA/CBAP asset), 5+ years BA experience, strong analytical skills, SQL/ETL/data governance familiarity, and experience with regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV, BCBS 239, COREP/FINREP, EMIR, MiFID II). Remote work option with international projects; English proficiency required; additional Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- MBA or CBAP asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets products and regulatory reports
- Knowledge of Basel III/IV, BCBS 239, COREP & FINREP, LCR & NSFR, CCAR, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, ESG Reporting
- Hands-on experience with ControllerView, data models, metadata management, rules development, data mapping and transformation, workflow configuration, data lineage, data quality controls, reconciliation processes
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, including SQL fundamentals, database design, ETL processes, data quality management, and data reconciliation
- Language level: Advanced English; Spanish a plus
