AWS Solutions Architect – Migration and Modernization

Job Summary
Lead presales engagements and design, build, and operate multi-account AWS environments using Control Tower and landing zones; own cloud migration initiatives from discovery to post-migration optimization. Hands-on implementation of secure, compliant, and well-architected AWS solutions; develop IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or CDK; implement IAM, encryption, and security monitoring; deploy containerized platforms with Docker, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes; build CI/CD pipelines; conduct Well-Architected Framework reviews and remediation; advise on governance, compliance, and security; drive cost optimization using AWS tools and FinOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS architectures in customer-facing roles
- Strong expertise with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Landing Zones, IAM, and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
- Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (ECS/EKS)
- Strong understanding of AWS security, compliance, monitoring, and operational best practices
- Experience supporting presales activities including solution design, technical presentations, and client workshops
- Strong problem-solving skills with a delivery-focused mindset
- Background working in an AWS Partner or consulting environment (preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate (preferred)
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty (preferred)
