Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-quality production code for cloud platform services; architect platform capabilities, contributing to product design and platform evolution; review and debug code; advocate firmwide SDLC frameworks/tools; influence decisions on leading-edge technologies; collaborate in a diverse, inclusive team; leverage strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with Java, Python, or Go; build platforms/tools consumed by other engineering teams; deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and microservices; practical experience with cloud platforms; experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and containerisation; knowledge of RESTful or event-driven services; AWS/Azure/Google Cloud familiarity; strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration; familiarity with pairing in software development; SDLC proficiency.
