AWS Network Engineer

Job Summary

Design and implement enterprise-scale AWS network architectures including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity solutions. Architect secure connectivity patterns using PrivateLink, WAF, and Shield while automating deployments via CloudFormation and Python. Troubleshoot complex routing, DNS, and latency issues to ensure high availability across multi-account environments. Partner with cloud architects and cybersecurity teams to optimize performance, enforce segmentation, and maintain comprehensive operational documentation. Work onsite five days a week.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Pre-Advanced English
  • Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud networking solutions in AWS
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP
  • Advanced understanding of DNS
  • Advanced understanding of CIDR
  • Advanced understanding of IPv4 / IPv6
  • Advanced understanding of Enterprise routing concepts
  • Advanced understanding of BGP routing protocols
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon VPC
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway
  • Hands-on experience with Route 53
  • Hands-on experience with VPC Endpoints
  • Hands-on experience with AWS PrivateLink
  • Hands-on experience with Application Load Balancers (ALB)
  • Hands-on experience with Network Load Balancers (NLB)
  • Experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud networking environments utilizing AWS Direct Connect and VPN technologies
  • Experience implementing cloud network security controls and advanced network segmentation strategies
  • Demonstrated experience with IaC (CloudFormation) and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar technologies
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving routing paths, DNS failures, connectivity issues, latency concerns, and network performance optimization
  • Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week

  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification
  • Experience supporting large-scale multi-account and multi-region AWS environments
  • Experience working within enterprise cybersecurity and cloud governance frameworks
  • Experience designing highly available and resilient cloud networking environments
  • Exposure to Terraform or additional Infrastructure-as-Code platforms
  • Experience supporting global organizations with complex hybrid-cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and operational support processes
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments
