Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer focused on secure AWS Data Lake solutions and AI-enabled development workflows. Design and implement data lake architectures on AWS, build AI agents to enhance the software development lifecycle, create MCP servers to support scalable platform engineering, and automate deployment with Terraform and Python scripts. Explore new AWS features, produce architectural artifacts, ensure secure, production-grade code, and analyze large data sets to drive continuous improvements in software applications and systems. Contribute to engineering communities and uphold robust security and reliability practices across the SDLC.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience in AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, and Lake Formation
- Experience in programming languages (Python), Terraform
- Hands-on practical experience with CI/CD
- Experience designing, developing, or maintaining production-grade cloud solutions in cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.)
- AWS Solutions Architect / Developer certification or equivalent
- Security and data governance awareness (PCI or equivalent)
