Job Summary
Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Helm, while developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. Support containerisation and migration of legacy batch workloads into Kubernetes environments, collaborating with application teams to enhance build and deployment workflows. Maintain version control systems, artifact registries, and pipeline integrations to ensure AWS environments align with security, scalability, and reliability best practices. This 6-month contract supports the High-Level Design and prototyping phase of a major cloud migration initiative for a leading public sector technology programme, offering exposure to enterprise-scale AWS transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven DevOps engineering experience in cloud-first environments
- Hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD
- Hands-on expertise with ArgoCD
- Hands-on expertise with Helm
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of GitOps methodologies
- Experience supporting cloud migration or transformation programmes
- Familiarity with AWS architecture and operational best practices
- Ability to work in hybrid delivery environments
- Mandatory: Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency requirement
