Job Summary
Manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions by establishing or provisioning virtual machines and networks using AWS services and containerization. Collaborate with cloud architects to develop, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components while applying DevOps frameworks to support client missions. Leverage internal innovative labs to explore scalable system designs, disaster recovery strategies, and security automation practices. Requires TS/SCI clearance, AWS certification, and experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns such as ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and container orchestration
- 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- 3+ years of experience with secrets management and security automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with bash or Python scripting and CI/CD tools and practices such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- 3+ years of experience with disaster recovery
- 2+ years of experience in TypeScript, Python, or OOP language and writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications
- Experience in security scanning tools and DevSecOps practices such as SonarQube or Snyk
- Experience with security compliance automation and continuous monitoring, and system design with focus on scalability and reliability
- Experience with database administration and optimization such as RDS, DynamoDB, or MongoDB, serverless architecture such as Lambda or API Gateway, and leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification
- IAT Level II+, Security+, or CISSP Certification
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
- You are expected to be on camera during interviews and assessments
- Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility
- Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role
- Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role
