Job Summary
AWS Databricks Platform Administrator responsible for administering the Databricks platform on AWS, designing AWS infrastructure with Terraform, and enabling CI/CD via GitHub Actions. Requires strong SQL for admin queries/dashboards, experience with Databricks APIs (Postman), and the ability to assess risk for 3rd party integrations with AWS resources. Shift time is 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST. The role emphasizes in-person collaboration with flexible support for wellbeing and productivity, within DXC Technology’s enterprise cloud/managed infrastructure context; the posting includes guidance on recruitment fraud awareness and a positioning of DXC as a partner delivering AI-enabled outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 8 or more years of experience administering the Databricks platform (on AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of data engineering needs
- Experience of designing and creating AWS infrastructure with Terraform
- Experience with compliance audits/audit documentation
- Experience using Databricks APIs with tools like Postman
- Understanding of the Databricks workspace and development environment
- Strong SQL skills for creating admin related queries and dashboards
- Strong debugging skills and ability to do risk analysis for 3rd party integrations with AWS resources
- Knowledge of Python a plus
