Job Summary
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications for performance, cost, and security while collaborating with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. Perform backup, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessment for cloud resources, ensuring compliance with security policies and governance best practices. Keep up-to-date with emerging AWS services to recommend improvements to existing infrastructure. Requires minimum five years of hands-on AWS experience and strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and architecture
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CodePipeline
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies
