Job Summary
Design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud transformation initiatives for enterprise clients using AWS technologies. Facilitate discovery workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews to develop cloud strategies, migration roadmaps, and target-state architectures. Partner with sales and account teams to support pre-sales activities, including client presentations, solution demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, and technical proposal development. Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, migration, security, and governance while establishing architecture standards and best practices. Lead solution discovery and engage with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Significant years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles
- Strong hands-on and architectural expertise across AWS services
- Proven experience working within a consulting, systems integrator, or professional services environment
- Demonstrated success supporting pre-sales, client acquisition, and solution consulting engagements
- Experience leading cloud transformation and migration programs for enterprise customers
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives and senior business leaders
- Experience presenting complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong knowledge across: AWS Landing Zones
- Strong knowledge across: AWS Organizations and Control Tower
- Strong knowledge across: Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
- Strong knowledge across: Storage: S3, EFS, FSx
- Strong knowledge across: Databases: RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB
- Strong knowledge across: Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53
- Strong knowledge across: Security: IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS
- Strong knowledge across: Monitoring and Observability: CloudWatch, CloudTrail
- Strong knowledge across: Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge across: CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge across: Hybrid and multi-cloud architecture concepts
- Valid work rights for Australia
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background checking process, including probity and police checks
