Job Summary
Design and implement AWS-native architectures for serverless and distributed systems, leading backend development with Python and services like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. Enforce AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency while managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Implement monitoring strategies using CloudWatch and X-Ray, ensuring cloud security best practices across IAM, encryption, and network security. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams while collaborating with Solution Architects and cross-functional stakeholders. Requires 8+ years in software development and 5+ years architecting AWS applications; US resident with bilingual Spanish and English skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development (cloud-focused)
- 5+ years architecting AWS cloud applications
- Strong expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- US Resident
- US Citizenship
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
