Job Summary
AWS Cloud Presales Solution Architect specializing in the AWS AI suite, partnering with sales and executives to identify opportunities, shape strategic deals, and drive cloud adoption for consumer products/retail/hospitality/travel industries. Build trusted executive relationships, articulate the value of AWS Cloud and AI tools, develop compelling proposals and business cases, and incubate innovative cloud solutions using AI, ML, IoT, and generative/conversational AI. Prepare and deliver workshops, proofs-of-concept, and deal-winning strategies; coordinate with AWS and partners to maximize client outcomes and ROI. Role requires up to 40% travel, and supports hybrid work from base locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, or San Francisco.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years Professional Services, Business Development and/or Partner Management experience
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies
- Presales or solution architecture experience in consumer products/retail/hospitality/travel
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and ROI
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with C-level audiences
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and AWS partnerships
- Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international)
- Ability to shape deals and develop compelling proposals and business cases
