Job Summary
Gather and analyze requirements from development teams and business units. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and advanced database functions. Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing. Perform reverse engineering of existing code to understand business logic, document it, and support ongoing maintenance. Interact with systems and data sources to ensure seamless integration with web applications. Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting. Contribute to back-end development and occasionally support front-end activities. Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation. This role is for a Middle SQL Server Developer within Lottomatica's Gaming Machine Development team, located in Italy. The position requires 1 year of SQL experience and offers a permanent contract with hybrid working.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in SQL development and relational database management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
- Experience with query optimization, indexing and database performance tuning
- Ability to analyze and understand existing database code and logic, even in environments with limited documentation
- Knowledge of large-scale data management concepts and Data Warehousing
