Job Summary
Drive due diligence processes for direct investments and fund commitments, creating financial analyses, waterfall models, and internal memos to assess potential opportunities. Understand market trends by developing industry perspectives through research and sector reports, while proactively sourcing new investments and analyzing current portfolio holdings. Attend conferences and industry events to build personal networks and enhance firm relationships, assisting in various operational activities throughout the deal process. This Associate role within Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management's Early-Stage Capital team supports institutional and individual investors in program design and risk management across private equity, hedge funds, and real estate strategies.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS from a leading undergraduate institution
- 2-3+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, or private equity
- Excellent research and analytical skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
