Job Summary
Awake Overnight Youth Stabilization Specialist providing supervision and a structured home-based routine for foster youth, delivering trauma-informed mental health supports, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, participating in client treatment planning and meetings, transporting youth to activities and appointments, applying behavioral interventions, maintaining documentation, delivering crisis intervention and de-escalation, and coordinating transportation and on-call crisis coverage during an overnight full-time shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
- At least one year experience in an acute psychiatric setting, acute residential placement such as Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP), or providing intensive crisis support to youth
- Experience de-escalating crisis behaviors with youth who have experienced significant trauma in a highly structured environment utilizing behavioral and relationship-based interventions
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- At least 21 years of age
