Job Summary
Conduct overnight program activities in a community living arrangement, providing individual and group support to enhance independence and quality of life. Assist in implementing treatment programs, maintain records including behavior and academic data, and document incidents in a communication log. Provide training for daily living skills such as showering, dressing, and household chores, while administering and disposing of medication per MAP requirements. Monitor physical and emotional needs, report changes to a supervisor, and perform hands-on tasks including general housekeeping, snow shoveling, and garbage removal. Ensure required staff-to-person ratios are maintained, provide physical intervention or first aid during emergencies, and remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift. Drive a Vinfen van or personal vehicle as needed, with a valid license and clean driving record required.
Required Qualifications
- Three months to one year experience in a related function
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Driving is a requirement for this position
- A valid driver's license
- Must possess and maintain adequate insurance
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Must be able to pass a driver's screening background check
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to assist clients with tasks of daily living
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives

- CPR required within two weeks of hire
- First Aid required within two weeks of hire
- MAP required within 150 days of hire
- PBS Tier 1 required within 150 days of hire
