Job Summary
Awake Overnight Counselor for adults with ID/DD in Lifeworks Residential Program. Responsibilities include hands-on direct care such as showering, toileting, shaving, meal-time assistance, mobility and transfer support, incontinence care, meal preparation, and life-skills coaching. Collaborate with a team to advocate for and support individuals, promote routine and preventive health, and help residents lead more independent lives in the community. Requires experience serving individuals with ID/DD and High School Diploma; must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license. MAP certification preferred. Schedule is 40 hours overnight Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Equal Opportunity Employer with competitive benefits including 403(b) matching and staff retention bonus after 1 year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- related or direct experience working with individuals with ID/DD
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC
- MAP certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
