Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (243)

Awake Overnight Residential Counselor for individuals with ID/DD in Lifeworks’ residential program. Responsible for direct care duties including personal care support (showering, toileting, grooming), meal-time assistance, and ensuring safe, secure living environments. Develops, writes, and presents annual ISPs and semi-annual assessments in collaboration with residential staff; provides education, counseling, and physical assistance to support ISP goals across functional academics, domestic skills, health and personal hygiene, social and leisure skills, communication, community mobility, self-esteem, and money management. Provides transportation as needed and conducts case management activities with confidential file maintenance, documentation, and regular meetings. Requires experience with ID/DD populations and either a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field with two years of experience, or a high school diploma with five years of related Human Services experience. Candidate must pass background checks (Fingerprint/CORI/DPPC) and have a valid driver’s license; MAP certification is preferred.
