Job Summary
Provide reliable, compassionate overnight care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring a safe and calm environment from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, toileting, feeding, and changing while monitoring health and safety. Complete daily direct care documentation and help maintain a comfortable, secure home by handling household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Cheer individuals on as they pursue meaningful activities and help set the stage for a positive start to the day. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact during overnight hours through respectful, person-centered support at the Harry Meyering Center.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid United States driver's license
- Pass a driving record check conducted by our insurance carrier
- Pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to complete daily direct care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and changing
- Ability to do household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
