Job Summary
Conduct bed checks throughout the evening, document client status, and provide wake-up calls for approved appointments. Perform general cleaning, housekeeping, filing, copying, organizing daily paperwork, and data entry as directed. Complete supply inventories and respond to client problems, including suicide watch situations. Ensure a smooth transition of nightly activities and incidents to morning staff and begin basic breakfast set-up. Cover weekend shifts, awake night shifts on holidays, and other occasions as assigned. Report directly to the Housing Coordinator. Stay awake during late evening and overnight hours while maintaining reliability and crisis intervention skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stay awake during late evening, and overnight hours
- Must be reliable
- Must be organized
- Must be thorough
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions
- Must have good crisis intervention skills
- Must have satisfactory English writing and communication skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for awake night shifts on holidays
- Must be available for other occasions as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of social service experience
- Veteran status
