Job Summary
AVP - Trust Officer on-site role focused on maintaining client relationships in trust accounts, preparing and attending meetings with beneficiaries to establish investment objectives and risk tolerances, summarizing discussions and significant events, assisting officers in addressing client concerns, collaborating with officers, attorneys, and accountants to promote fiduciary services and construct plans for clients' financial needs, pursuing new Trust business opportunities, engaging with local markets, and supporting the sales effort with technical expertise and product knowledge, while ensuring trust-related operations and transactions are executed effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance - CFP, JD a plus
- Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret legal trust documents and wills
- Knowledge and understanding of investment principles and asset allocation strategies
- Personal presence, interpersonal skills, experience in developing strong client relationships, and a deep client service orientation
- Ability to present complex ideas and financial information in a simplified, easy-to-understand manner
- Possess strong, flexible interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients at all levels so as to effectively address the needs of the client
- Excellent written skills, with ability to write business correspondence
- Must have a strong ability to organize and manage tasks, balance changing priorities to deliver the highest quality of trust services
