Job Summary
AVP Alliances will identify, onboard, and manage strategic partnerships to drive customer engagement and increase spends across credit, debit, and lending portfolios. The role involves strong stakeholder management, commercial negotiation, governance of partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Operations. Responsibilities include onboarding new alliance partners, driving customer acquisition and card spends, leading discussions and execution of partnership agreements, managing end-to-end partner lifecycle, coordinating partner-led campaigns with Marketing, tracking performance, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and preparing MIS reports and updates for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training (mandatory)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage
- Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, loyalty, or partnerships/alliances roles
- Experience managing strategic alliances, merchant partnerships, or co-branded programs is an advantage
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial negotiation and agreement management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Attention to detail and process orientation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Proven track record in growing card spends and customer engagement
- Experience with AML/sanctions training requirement
