Job Summary
AVP, Senior Credit Analyst responsible for underwriting and analyzing complex loan requests, renewals, and modifications; coordinating all stages of the credit process from client outreach to loan closing and onboarding; maintaining the loan portfolio with proactive administration (past dues, covenants, exceptions, annual reviews); supporting cross-selling by identifying new lending opportunities; collaborating with Relationship Bankers and internal teams to drive new business and client growth; providing training and guidance to Credit Analysts and Loan Associates while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of lending, underwriting, and/or credit experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with banking and credit software
- Experience with CRM systems
- NMLS registration upon hire
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-starter with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients
