Job Summary
Provide analytical support in underwriting and closing commercial real estate loans or securitizations (CMBS, Conduit, CRE CLO). Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and rent rolls, compiling data tapes, clearing exceptions, researching tenant information, preparing market and property summaries, drafting asset summaries and credit memos, and managing client interactions. Requires strong Excel/cash flow modeling, writing, and communication skills, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of experience in CMBS securitization preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Business (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience with 1+ years in a senior associate level or external equivalent
- 2-5 years of CMBS securitization experience
- Familiarity with commercial real estate and securitization processes
- Strong Excel and cash flow modeling skills
- Strong business writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and clients under tight timelines
