Job Summary
AVP-level Product Owner for Issuer Services leading a Product Management team. Responsible for setting strategy and providing direction, leadership, and budgetary management; developing product plans, strategies, and tactics; coordinating product lines through lifecycle; driving promotion of products to develop new markets and increase market share. Oversees strategic program roadmap, product delivery, client experience and communications, prioritization, pricing, targeting, and channel strategies to achieve competitive differentiation. Develops and executes plans across countries/regions, conducts market research and product innovation, and manages life-cycle programs with attention to technology trends, risks, and compliance. Engages external partners to drive innovation, negotiates agreements, and ensures alignment with Citi’s standards. Requires 5-8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Functional experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, or analytics
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in product strategy and lifecycle management
- Experience leading a product management team
- Knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations in financial services
