Job Summary
AVP, Premier Banking Officer responsible for generating new business opportunities across Retail and Commercial lines, focused on deposits growth, cross-selling Bluestone Bank products, and developing/initiating relationships with new and existing clients. Role involves origination of deposit accounts, Treasury Management/Cash Management solutions, and other banking products, delivering sales plans and driving revenue while maintaining customer relationships. Key activities include prospecting and meeting with potential clients, needs assessments, presenting relationship-focused solutions, facilitating documentation for deposits/loans/cards, reporting competitive activity, and representing the bank at community events. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 5+ years in client-facing sales roles, strong customer service orientation, ability to work in a team, and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years in client-facing service and sales positions
- Strong customer service orientation and effective problem resolution
- Proven written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Formal sales training a plus
- Experience in a financial institution or loan office a plus
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
