Job Summary

AVP, Portfolio Relationship Manager in C&I responsible for delivering credit analysis, risk assessment, and structuring credit requests for middle-market clients. Independently evaluates asset-based lending, term loans, and commercial real estate loans; prepares financial statement analyses and third-party reports; drafts loan documents with outside counsel or in-house team; develops Credit Approval Reports (CAR) for Credit Administration; coordinates with Loan Administration for due diligence, risk rating reviews, and covenant monitoring; reviews LOIs and ensures consistency between loan documents and CAM; may accompany Relationship Manager on joint calls with clients; ensures compliance with applicable regulations and bank policies. Requires strong credit, analytical, and communication skills, with knowledge of appraisals, collateral exams, and financial reporting, plus the ability to present and explain pricing alternatives and credit strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
  • 3 years of related work experience
  • Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 needed
