Job Summary
AVP, Portfolio Relationship Manager responsible for financial, credit, and trend analysis to support delivery of the bank's credit products to middle-market and business clients. Independently evaluates and structures lower- to moderate-complexity credit requests, assesses credit worthiness, prepares analysis of financial statements and third-party reports (e.g., appraisals), drafts loan documents with outside counsel or in-house counsel, and compiles the Credit Approval Report (CAR) for credit administration decisioning. Monitors covenant compliance and risk ratings, stays updated on industry, regulatory, and political issues, and collaborates with Relationship Managers to assess client needs. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and bank policies; demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in due diligence, collateral analysis, LOIs, and understanding of loan structuring and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and/or 3 years of related work experience
- Formal credit training and/or Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 preferred
- Strong knowledge of lending, cash flow and collateral analysis
- Regulatory compliance awareness across applicable state and federal regulations
