Job Summary
Manage operations, clinical effectiveness targets, and budgets while overseeing staffing hours, overtime, and facility maintenance. Coordinate move-ins, transfers, and discharges; monitor meal plans, cleanliness, and individual satisfaction. Facilitate interviewing, placement, and training of Care Team Managers; oversee marketing and occupancy rates. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, assist with corrective action plans, and develop systems to monitor operations and service contractors. Review individual performance and maintain accurate records. Adhere to BSLS Core Values, Mission Statement, and Corporate Philosophies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Social Work or a related field
- Master's degree in related field
- Must be licensed in good standing, if required by the State Licensing Authority
- Must be an excellent communicator and able to effectively communicate with employees, individuals served, families, regulatory officials, state hospitals and the general public
- Must have experience overseeing multiple communities/homes
- Experience with financial reporting and managing multiple budgets
- Ongoing approval by Federal, State, and local government entities to work at the company
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA, medical management, and care plan record keeping and billing documents
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field is preferred
- A minimum of 5-10 years in an Adult Foster Care, nursing home administrator, or manager of operations position preferred
- Must have compassion for and a desire to work with special populations with IDD and chronic illnesses
- Previous experience in behavioral health and human services related environments is preferred
