Job Summary
AVP of Trading and Portfolio Management responsible for implementing and managing ETF portfolios, interfacing with clients, and supporting day-to-day trading operations. Role involves portfolio monitoring, trade execution, compliance reporting, reconciliation, and collaboration with the trading team on trades and rebalances. Daily duties include preparing quarterly portfolio reconciliations and reports for oversight, regulatory filings, and board meetings, while ensuring adherence to firm policies and improving workflows. Must understand ETF strategies across major asset classes and contribute to thought leadership in operational risk management and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years+ experience with an ETF or trading background
- Strong Excel skills
- VBA/Bloomberg/Python experience a plus
- Proactive problem solver with ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks simultaneously
